Event Information


The integration of Project WET in the training will provide participating teachers with active learning activities that will engage their students in the study of ‘Sailing to Save the Sea’ topics including watersheds, water quality, marine debris and better understand the connections between terrestrial actions and impacts to freshwater and marine environments, while linking the learning with practices and concepts at the core of Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.  This one-day 8 hr. training will include a Curriculum and Activity Guide full of activities to use in your classroom.

  • Please dress warm and in layers.
  • Activites will be indoor and outdoors. 
  • Light Breakfast and Lunch will be provided (let us know of specific food allergies)
  • Bring a reusable water bottle
